Cove Creek Farm

At Cove Creek Farm, we raise our livestock on pasture to mimic their natural herding behavior. We practice regenerative agriculture because we believe that we must improve the land not just sustain the land. Our heritage breed Red Devon cattle are rotated on to fresh pasture every day. In addition to cattle, we raise Mulefoot and Gloucester Old Spot pigs. These older heritage breeds take longer to raise on pasture but the end result is well worth the wait. We also raise pastured poultry. Our meat chickens are moved daily to fresh pasture and are supplemented with an organic feed.

In our small market garden, we produce carrots, salad greens, tomatoes, summer squash and winter squash. We use minimal tillage and never use synthetic fertilizer, herbicides, or pesticides.
