Gettin' There Farm

We are a small family owned and operated farm. We are very passionate about sustainable farming and good quality food. We have an acre garden and a large green house where we grow an assortment of fruits and vegetables. Some of our most popular items are heirloom tomatoes, summer squash, zucchini, and a wide variety of hot peppers. We have on average six bee hives that pollinate our garden and personal use orchard. This makes our honey some of the most prized around. Depending on what we plant during the season our honey ranges from light golden floral flavors to dark golden and very rich. Our honey is never processed only filtered to remove any wax. If a customer would like honey with the comb though we could easily jar it that way. The majority of our land though is dedicated to our animals. We have chickens, ducks, sheep, goats, and Berkshire hogs. Our pigs are a heritage breed that hail from England. They are highly sought after because their meat is known for being heavily marbled, extremely juicy, and exceptionally tender. All of our animals are free range. We never use hormones or antibiotics. We also don't use any herbicides or pesticides including the organic varieties because the health of our bees is highly important to us. This means that our garden and green house are all weeded and picked by hand.
