Gondek Acres

We are a small family farm specializing in corn and soy free poultry products. We sell eggs from hens that free range our farm, eat bugs and grass, and get plenty of fresh air and sunlight. In addition, they are supplemented with an organic feed that is free from corn and soy.

A couple times a year we also sell pasture raised whole chicken that are fed an organic feed that is corn and soy free.

Why is it important that our feed does not have corn and soy?
Corn and soy are cheap fillers; crops that are subsidized by the government. Chickens are monogastric animals (they have one stomach - like humans) and do not have the ability to break down the polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs) in corn and soy. These PUFAs build up and are then transferred to you, the consumer. PUFAs are linked to increased inflammation and a multitude of heath issues.

Here at Gondek Acres we also sell vegetables, herbs, and cut flowers.
