Green Family Farms is a family-owned regenerative farm in Hunt County, Texas, dedicated to raising healthy food, caring for the land, and creating a place where people can reconnect with nature and one another.
What began as a small farm in Lucas, Texas, has grown into something much bigger than we ever imagined. Today, our farm is home to a Farm Market, Farm Lounge & Café, educational farm tours, community events, and FLAG (Fellowship, Learning, and Growing), our private membership community.
Our Farm Market is open seven days a week, making it easier than ever to shop directly at the farm. In addition to our own grass-fed meats, fresh eggs, and other farm products, we've invited other local farmers and artisans to offer their products in the market as well. By shopping here, you're supporting an entire community of local producers, not just Green Family Farms.
While you're here, be sure to stop by our Farm Lounge & Café, where you can enjoy breakfast, lunch, fresh coffee, homemade baked goods, and a relaxing place to gather with family and friends. We believe a farm should be more than a place that produces food. It should be a place where people can slow down, connect, and feel at home.
While we still raise much of our food for our own family, we're grateful to share the abundance with others through our Farm Market and local delivery service.

We've been getting eggs from Sandra and family for most of the year. Eggs are pastured (you can see them from the road) and are always delicious. She also has very good pricing on whole chickens when they process them a few times a year and in the past has had similarly good pricing on pork.... [more]

Directions:
Before you head our way, please note:
If your GPS tells you to turn onto CR 4610, do not follow those directions. CR 4610 is a dirt road and can become impassable, especially after rain.
Instead, turn onto CR 4709 from Hwy 50. Follow it to the dead end, turn right, and continue on the road until you arrive at the farm.
We've posted Green Family Farms signs beginning on Hwy 50 and at each turn along the route, so once you see the first sign, simply follow the signs all the way to the farm.
