Did the farm tour on a cold windy spring day. Found hard working people treating the land and the animals with holistic care.

The kids had fun tromping around in their mud boots, feeding and petting the animals - mainly chickens, geese, and sheep, the cows were a bit large for them to deal with. Kristy showed us how to do crawdad baiting but I don't think we caught any, the crawdads were expert bait thieves.

Enjoyed some home made ice cream and came away with some goose eggs, milk, and a pork tongue roast ... as well as a good feeling that we discovered a farm family we want to support going forward from now.

Thanks Green family ! Best wishes to you in your farm endeavors.

We've been getting eggs from Sandra and family for most of the year. Eggs are pastured (you can see them from the road) and are always delicious. She also has very good pricing on whole chickens when they process them a few times a year and in the past has had similarly good pricing on pork. Additionally, in the past (and I think currently) she has had fragrant homemade soaps, vanilla, and compost. Also, she is currently opening up for sheep milk shares.

Overall, highly recommend contacting her and at least getting on the email list for her newsletter to keep up with when they will have fresh meat, eggs, and other things available.
