Greener Pasture Farm

There are currently 51 milking cows in our herd. The majority are Jerseys with a few Linebacks and a Red and White Holstein. The cows spend their days outside on pasture. When it is cold they have a sheltered area in a large pine tree woods. The milking cows are mainly grass fed, receiving a small amount of grain to meet their energy needs. This means in the growing season they are on organic pasture and in the cold weather they receive stored hay and grass that is certified organic. Our cattle receive minerals free choice. They are given no hormones or antibiotics. Our farm and Dairy are certified organic and Grade A inspected. We also raise heritage pigs on pasture. Our pigs are receive a non-GMO feed as well. Our beef is exclusively grass fed. We sell grass fed beef, pastured pork, and have herdshares available.
