Hardscrabble Grass Fed Beef CSA

We raise grass fed and grass finished beef. These are top quality Black Angus steers, 100% grass fed and never been given steroids, antibiotics, drugs, any kind of prepared feed with animal byproducts or hormones. These steers have only had irrigated pasture grass and clover for the last 5 months. They have not been fed the traditional feedlot grain diets that produce rapid growth with added fat.... There have been documentaries on PBS and articles written about the advantages of this type of beef. These steers grade as USDA Choice on grass alone. Some ranchers describe this type of beef as free range or natural beef and charge a significant premium. It's a great feeling to sit down at the dinner table and know you're feeding your family the best quality beef available.
