Hart-to-Hart Farm

Hart-to-Hart Farm is a small working dairy farm nestled in the rolling hills of Albion, Maine. It is owned and operated by Doug and Linda Hartkopf and their three children. The farm consist of 285-acre of pasture, fields, ponds and forest. On the farm you will find a mix of 40 organic milking registered Holsteins & Jersey. Our cows are housed in a freestall barn and are milked in a double 6 milking parlor. We also have historic barn, and out buildings . IN addition to dairy cows , we have an assortment of chickens, goats, sheep, horses and rabbits. We crop over 140 acres of land. Our forage crops include: grass mix and small grains. Pasture are used for rotational grazing. During the summer, Linda directs a farm day camp program. Campers experience a rich program as Linda incorporates her educational teachings into her current programs. The result is a unique and rewarding experience for each camper. Her enthusiasm and wealth of knowledge will provide your child with an incredible camp experience. IN addition to the camp program we offer farm internship for individual who are interested in learning more about organic dairy.
