Our family has more than 20 years of active involvement with the Ranger's 4-H Club which is based in Hartland and serves the greater Livingston County area.
In 2004 we started selling our produce at the then recently organized Hartland Farmer's Market. We have expanded with a variety of fruits and vegetables. If we do not have what you are looking for we seek out another local farmer for you.
Our premium quality pork has been raised on our farm in a free range area. They are free of drugs or hormones. All the pork is from younger animals, not the old boars or sows. This gives our pork a wonderful flavor.
We also raise free range pasture fed turkeys for July and Thanksgiving.
Several years ago several of our customers who love our turkeys asked us to start raising chickens in our same way as our pigs and turkeys. They have been well received and we have been raise more every year. Every few weeks starting around Memorial Day weekend we have fresh whole young chickens or separate pieces ready for you to cook. They can be purchased at our farm or at one of our farmer's markets.
