The Lynchburg Community Market is one of the oldest farmers markets in the country, having originally opened in 1783.
The Market is open year-round, Tuesday through Saturday, from 7am - 2pm.
Breakfast and lunch are available from a variety of restaurants. Several permanent shops offer specialty gifts, crafts, and food items. Our Crafters Gallery is open daily from 9 until 2, where art and craft vendors display and sell original, beautiful, local art.
Our full farmers market is on Saturdays. Various special events held through the year bring in other exciting vendors!

It has everything and mostly organic....I love it.
Also it is very important tosupport the small farmers. If notthe corperate groups will take ofer their lands. Then NO choices.
It makes a big difference in the locally grown foods and plants those of us who shop there on Saturdays and Wednesdays are able to purchase.
