Participating in a CSA is a great way to get to know who grows your food and how it is grown. Starting in July, and continuing for 12 weeks, your CSA can be picked up and will include six to eight fresh vegetables grown on the HAFA Farm. In your box, you will find familiar staples like carrots, potatoes, green beans, and onions. Boxes size are 3/4 bushel. Additionally, each week we will also entice you to try two or three new items like red kale, Indian okra or lemongrass (and a recipe!) to help introduce you to new vegetables and dishes. Most importantly, as a member of the HAFA CSA, you will know that you are supporting your small, local family farmers.
