As a registered nurse and a huge animal lover I'd like to tell you how my farm originated. I've owned horses most of my life and there was a horse that I knew of who was having such a hard time nutritionally. He was older and He has lost many of his teeth- making it almost impossible for him to eat hay. During the winter in particular horses really need extra hay as there's not much grass. So I began thinking about and researching how to overcome this obstacle and I discovered micro greens. I initially wanted to see if I could grow alfalfa hay in a micro green form as the greens are small, very tender and highly nutritious. Never did I dream that this would open up a whole new world for me and for those that I care about. Over the past few years I have been growing over 30 varieties gorgeous micro greens.
These greens are ideal to add into just about any dish you can imagine, excellent for smoothies and shakes, and Also provide a fantastic nutritional benefit for Cancer patients and other patients who are nutritionally at risk. Eating just a small amount of greens each day is much easier for a lot of people and trying to eat large amounts of leafy green vegetables. Our senior citizens and even babies whose parents like to make their own baby food can enjoy micro greens every day.
I would be honored to sell these organic greens to local healthcare settings such as long-term care and assisted living facilities, local home delivery across the metro and of course to catering and restaurant clients as well.
I hope you will reach out to me and let me tell you about the greens I'm growing that may perhaps be of interest to you and your family. Namaste
