Winters Grass Farm

Winters Grass Farm is a sustainable, grass based farm located in the Sauquoit Valley just South of the city of Utica. We offer 100% grassfed Raw Milk, pastured beef, pork, chicken, and turkey. It is our goal to provide our customers with real food that is healthy, nutritious, and most importantly, food that tastes great! We do not use antibiotics, or growth hormones, but prefer to implement methods that ensure that our animals are healthy and have strong immune systems. All of our systems are pasture based. We want the animals outside where they can get plenty of exercise, sunshine, and fresh air, and eat what they are designed to eat. We take pride in producing the highest quality meat that you will find in New York State. Our beef is 100% grass-fed and the herd is moved daily to ensure plenty of high quality forage. The pigs are raised out on pasture and moved on a regular basis. For the broilers and turkeys we use the Salatin style, mobile field pens, and move them every day. By offering the broilers access to fresh pasture daily it ensures that they consume a greater percentage of forages thus guaranteeing that our product is of the highest nutritional quality.
