Our farm was started in 1856 and has been in our family continuously since that time. My children and I represent the fifth and sixth generation of farmers on the land. We have expanded our farm to include other farms in the area.
Our farm raises registered Mulefoot Hogs. Our hogs are farrowed, raised, and finished on open pasture with a feed supplement we make on our farm utilizing no genetically modified ingredients, hormones or antibiotics. The American Mulefoot is considered critically endangered and has fewer than 600 registered animals. We feel we have one of the best herds anywhere and we have traveled the country to obtain the best possible breeding lines.
