We purchased a registrred breeding pair of Mulefoots and a feeder in mid April 2016. We were told that they had a boar from their Virginia bloodline and a gilt from their Colorado line and they had papers in hand, so we drove 5 hrs and paid cash. Once they were loaded, they told us the papers should be there in afew days and ee should have them shortly. Since we had driven 5 hrs, we said ok and took a chance (they seemed like nice people). After MANY calls/texts/emails we still do not have any registrations 4 months later. We found out sccidentally that they have no idea who the boars father is. They have 5-6 boars and its uncontrolled breeding. In addition, we also dont know for surr that our gilt is not half sibling to our boar. It seems they have no control over their breeding program, are difficult or impossible to work with after they get your money, and dont really care about preserving the breed. Do yourself a favor - go elsewhere or be satisfied with feeders
