Meadow Stone Farm

We are a small diversified farm with 18 Saanen (BGS & ADGA registered) goats. We are State licensed to sell our organic Grade A raw milk , both pasteurized and raw milk cheeses on the farm. We age both raw goat and cow milk cheeses, as well as combination artisanal cheeses. Milk is also available at Harvest Moon Natural Food Store in Putnam, CT. We use tamper resistant glass bottles in quarts only (refundable bottle deposit) - no plastic. Our closed herd of goats are all pasture fed & eat a certified organic grain supplement. We do not use antibiotics, but rather use herbal treatments whenever possible. We make our own udder creams, topical flea & tick preparations, and herbal supplements. We also make Award-winning luxury, raw goatmilk soaps & skincare products. Skin care products available by mail order or in our shoppe. Honey generally available year-round -- blueberries, black raspberries, red raspberries during summer. Heritage breed, pastured roaster chickens (we mix our own grain) available by special request. Our shoppe is open Tues/Thurs/Sunday from 1:30 - 6:30 pm. Milk is sold fresh within 24 hours of milking.
