Prospect Farm

We are a grass-based farmstead raising heritage breed livestock. We use intensive rotational grazing patterns, allowing our animals a healthy and natural living environment, which in turn promotes healthy soil for future years. This means that each animal group is kept on a portion of pasture only as long as it takes for them to eat the best forage available, with their manure fertilizing as they graze. Our land is never sprayed with chemicals and our animals are never fed hormones, antibiotics or additives. We use holistic planning and management to ensure our practices respect the environment and the nutrition of our consumers. By carefully managing our animals to work together and do what comes naturally, we are able to offer the consumer something very special. It is our feeling that the close attention paid to the health and well being of the farm as a whole shows up on your plate. It's good food raised the way it should be!
