Sprouting Roots Farm is a small family farm owned and operated by a woman in Loudoun County, VA. We grow highly nutritious seasonal Indian ethnic vegetables, greens, roots, herbs, and flowers for local families.

Sprouting Roots Farm is a family’s dream to go back to the roots. We want to re-establish and leave a lasting farming legacy for our family. We are putting our heart and soul into it and hoping our work will inspire more people to take a step towards reclaiming the soil and eventually increase more small regenerative farms. At Sprouting Roots Farm, while growing food, we are also focussing on rebuilding healthy and living soil by making the best use of nature’s resources.

Our goal is to stick with a small farm so that each plant gets personal attention, from the selection of seeds to the stage where the food gets into our member's hands, and make sure this becomes an enjoyable experience for all of us. While we are not certified organic, we follow strict organic practices to grow our crops. We never use synthetic pesticides, fungicides, or herbicides and for fertilization, we use leaf-grow compost heavily. We continuously experiment with new crops to bring unique varieties available to you.

We offer farm visits to pick your own vegetables at the farm, delivery, pick-up, and CSA Membership plans. Check our website for the produce and CSA section for more details.
