Two Sisters Creamery is a Jersey and Jersey/Dexter cross herd share operation in east central Ohio, the dairy component of the Sow's Ear Farm and Pottery.
We are an all-grass operation on rotationally grazed pastures, milk by hand, and use only stainless steel and glass for milking and milk storage. Our pasture-wise animals receive no routine medications or wormers, deriving their excellent health from their knowledge of the naturally available therapies of our native pastures. They receive no grain, and are on pasture twelve months of the year.
Shares are $50, bought back at the same price when buyer chooses to leave the community. Shares can include milk, butter, eggs, and yogurt weekly; or all of these and meat as well. Maintenance fees depend on the type of share desired. Pickup is weekly.
Call us for a contract or to schedule a tour of the farm.
We also sell fresh brown eggs from pastured laying hens who are fed non-GM, corn- and soy-free feed, perfect for those on a GAPS diet. They are $5/dozen and available April thru October; call or text 740-537-5178 to place your order.
