Fertilizer & herbicide free, hydroponically grown microgreens on coconut fiber pads utilizing only non-GMO seeds and filtered water for true purity. Our mild salad mix, a blend of arugula, broccoli, red acre cabbage, kale, and kolhrabi, is a favorite and sells out at every Farmer's market! Try our delicate yet intense purple rambo radish on any sandwich, wrap, taco, salad, or even burger for the perfect kick. Our pea shoots are a delicious fresh sweet green pea flavor! Other varieties are available from time to time including leek, sunflower, and broccoli. I started Mt. Vernon Microgreens while on a personal search for locally grown super foods. In that search, I was surprised to find that microgreens were difficult to find locally and were expensive in the Indianapolis surrounding area. I started a farm to grow these nutrient dense crops for my own family and now share these delicious varieties with my community for an affordable price. We are a vendor at the Saxony Market in Fishers this summer. We operate year round as we are a climate controlled indoor vertical farm.
