We purchase yearling cattle (Herefords and cross-bred Devons) from a handful of proven source herds that have demonstrated an ability to finish to high culinary standard on grass. Our animals are rotationally grazed to finish weight on managed high-diversity pasture. Coastal grass gives our beef excellent fat content (healthy good fats and vitamins) and deep powerful flavor due to the mineral content associated with our salt fog and the long grazing season enjoyed along the southern New England coast.
Our meat takes longer to grow this way but is well worth the wait. We look forward to sharing our passion for the finest pastured protein with you.
