Keep checking back for more information about our new place in Virginia!*** We are a small-scale family farm that humanely raises very high quality, healthy, and sustainably grown chicken, beef, and lamb for you and your family. We focus on treating our animals and the land we raise them on with respect and environmentally sound practices. Our birds are raised on pasture and processed on our farm, no stressful trips down the highway in open-wire cages for our chickens! They are out in the fresh air and sunshine every day with constant access to grass, dirt, bugs; all the things a chicken or turkey could want. This way of raising them ensures that our customers receive a high-quality product. Our beef is raised purely on pasture and is never given grain. Our steers are raised on range land and are never given any kind of hormones or antibiotics. The grass they eat is never treated with herbicides, pesticides, or fertilizers. They are Angus and Angus x steers and heifers. We raise Dorper sheep for fantastic tasting lamb. These are hair sheep and have great flavor without the strong lamb taste that can come from the lanolin in wool sheep. Our sheep are raised on our pasture and receive no supplementary grain of any kind. We run a meat CSA program that includes chicken, beef, and lamb at a very reasonable price. Our feed is organic. No GMOs. No hormones or antibiotics. Pasture-raised.
