Solutions Farms

Solutions Farms is one of the three pillars of Solutions for Change, a non-profit fighting homelessness by educating, equipping and inspiring students to take their lives back, and empowering its community to support and celebrate the Overcomers.

Solutions Farms is unique in many ways with its aquaponics food production system, where nutrient-rich water from fish culture is used to nourish Lettuce, Microgreen and other produce, which in turn purifies the water so it can be returned to the fish. Solutions Farms is currently one of the largest aquaponics facilities in the West.

The farm provides a source of locally-raised, certified organic Salanova red butter lettuce, Salanova green butter lettuce, Salanova green oakleaf lettuce, and Salanova red oakleaf lettuce.
We also grow Arugula, Cilantro, and Basil Microgreen, Kale, and other produce that are being used by North County restaurants, CSA providers and eager farmers market buyers.
