Moffett's

We have free-range turkeys for Thanksgiving -- The turkeys protected our grapes by eating grasshoppers in the vineyard and have been fed the pomace from the grapes after processing. They will be available fresh or frozen or "on the hoof" for Halal butchering or for Thanksgiving or Christmas. Processed birds will range in weight from 13 lbs to 25 lbs. We charge $4.50/lb. They will be available for pickup at the winery in Uniontown (204 South Montgomery St, the "Mainstreet" of Uniontown) and we occasionally arrange for other drop-off sites.

Our farm in the Snake River Canyon is ideal for growing fruit, vegetables, herbs and nuts. We have 6 acres of classic wine grape varieties and our winery produces small batches of premium wines in traditional European styles, as described on our website, wawawaicanyon.com. Our garden and vineyard growing practices are sustainable, and chickens and turkeys help complete the biological cycles that enrich and replenish the land by providing grasshopper and weed control. We market fruit and vegetables and free range eggs locally.
