Our market is a seasonal Saturday morning community event, beginning on the day before Mothers Day and ending on Halloween. We have an array of vendors, including mostly organic and sustainable growers of produce, plants, flowers, and herbs. We have local bakers and other food preparation artisans, with hot coffee and other drinks available. We have several artisans, including pottery, jewelry, handmade soaps, lotions, and candles. We are a market where friends meet friends to catch up on happenings and children play on the lawn while the adults shop for quality, locally grown and prepared food. Pets are welcome if on a leash, as required by town ordinance. We are there on Saturday mornings, rain or shine.

Schedule and Location:
Saturdays from 9-12 behind the First Baptist Church on Montreat Road, just 2 blocks North of downtown Black Mountain.
It's close, shady, grassy, dog-friendly, and has everything--fish, lamb, chicken, veggies, crafts, coffee, etc. Super-friendly, the Saturday meeting place. Not too small, not too big--JUST RIGHT!

Love the food! Always fresh and local. The farmers are all so friendly. It's always a wonderful community gathering. I love cooking food during the week and recalling the faces of who I bought it from. So healthy and wonderful!!
