Polecat Mountain Farm is located on the eastern edge of the North Carolina Piedmont just 15 miles north of Oxford. We can’t begin to tell you how excited we are about what we are doing here. Our mission is good, healthy, clean, chemical free food. Humane treatment of our land and animals is our absolute standard.
Our poultry for meat and eggs are raised on pasture. Pasture raised broilers are available early summer to fall. The taste of our chicken is second to none.
Heritage Breed turkeys were popular this year and we received rave reviews. One customer drove 125 miles for our turkey!
We have Pork chops, loins, sausage, ribs, liver, and even bratwurst. This pasture raised meat is beyond compare and we recieve constant compliments on its quality and flavor.
We also grow a variety of vegetables including paste tomatoes, beans,zuccini, yellow squash, carrots cucumbers, and several varieties of potatoes.

Wake Forest Farmer's Market
The Wake Forest Farmers' Market is located on the west side of South White Street in historic downtown Wake Forest, North Carolina. The market is in the municipal parking lot with the gazebo, between 110 and 150 South White Street.
From the intersection of Highway 98 and US 1 (Capitol Blvd.) in Wake Forest (just north of eastern Raleigh), go east on Highway 98 for about 2 miles. Just past the seminary, turn right under the railroad bridge, and then immediately turn right again onto White Street. The market is up the hill, on the right.
The market is open on Saturday mornings from 8:00 to noon.
