Our chicken flock contains a wide variety of hens including Leghorn, New Hampshire, Barred Rock, Rhode Island Red, Buff Orpington, Easter Eggers, Cinnamon Queen, and Australorp. These gals are free to stretch their legs all day long, coming and going from the coop as they wish. They are truly free range!
Their foraged diet consists of insects, grains, seeds, and grasses; supplemented by corn, sunflower seeds, and locally grown wheat. While we are not certified organic, we seek to produce eggs by integrating cultural, biological, and mechanical practices that foster cycling of resources, promote ecological balance, and conserve biodiversity.
The eggs we collect each day are as diverse as the varieties of hens in our flock. We carefully pick the most attractive, unique, and perfectly wholesome eggs for your culinary pleasure. Happy hens means healthier eggs!
