You might say we are "artisanal" growers--our produce could be compared with handmade pottery, glass or fabric vs. factory made. For the most part, the work of pulling weeds, cultivating beds, and planting is done lovingly by hand. Even pest control is done mostly by attracting beneficial predatory insects or hand-picking insect pest eggs before they become a problem. This requires careful daily scouting and awareness of various life cycles.
We empower people to grow for themselves, selling starts of unusual or hard-to-find plants. We sometimes partner with other local growers (mostly USDA certified organic) to expand offerings. We are also happy to sell small quantities of extra row cover fabric for you to protect your home garden from pests and frost.
We operate a full-service florist, providing floral arrangements for all of life's occasions--weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, memorials, etc. We are happy for you to choose your own flowers at the farm. Please call to schedule an appointment.
