The River Road Ranch was founded in 2008 as a tiny hobby farm surrounded by the Vernon Marsh and the Fox River. Over the past fourteen years, our tiny farm has grown along with our family. We proudly offer free range eggs, pure raw honey, various produce and pumpkins. We also raise pastured chickens and turkeys for the table, contact us for more information or to place an order.

Like many today, we felt we had become too separated from the food chain and grown tired of finding wilted produce and meats raised on hormones and anti-biotics at the grocery store. We started small, just a little garden in the yard and three chickens. As our gardening skills improved so did our results and we found ourselves giving away bushels of beans, tomatoes, corn, cucumbers and other fresh veggies. Our flock grew over the years as well, we now have over forty chickens of various breeds. The addition of Narraganset turkeys in 2019 rounded out our flock. Honeybees arrived on the farm in 2020, one of the best additions we've made, they pollenate our garden and fruit trees while producing delicious, sweet wildflower honey - natures sweetener. We practice sustainable methods; we do not use herbicides or pesticides on our produce. Our flock is allowed to free range on our farm and fed a grain diet, we never use hormones or anti-biotics.
