East Texas FRESH Farmers Market

Like the delicious fresh produce at this market, it has started small and is destined to grow into something great! The FRESH market is better for these simple reasons: 1. It is truly local, 150 miles or less 2. There are real organic farmers and I revel in the occasional bug or nibbled leaf, because I know the produce has not been poisoned. 3. I can actually talk to the farmer who grew the produce, picked it and put it in his truck. He can tell me his favorite recipes, how the plants were grown and what to expect the next week. 4. They offer more than just produce and have added eggs, plants, soaps with more to come. 5. They grown more than squash and tomatoes. Things like blue kale and red chard and the absolute best corn I have ever tasted in my entire life. 6. It is on Broadway, not tucked away in some distant part of town, but the main drag where I actually can get there in the morning without leaving my house before the sun comes up. I make a point to try and buy one thing from every vendor there to show my support. I hope others in Tyler will too!
