Columbia Pike Farmers Market

I helped to start it as a member of Va's oldest food cooperative at the time ^_^ I love that our local farmers have a place to sell their harvest so they are NOT selling their land to developers. Big agra cannot provide us and our children with the needed minerals that have been stripped from the soil... shipping costs us $ in pollution, unripe veg sitting in storehouses, yech! Fresh picked, garden ripened, organic that benefits the community is what I prefer and fight for. We have entertainment too. Kids need live music to learn how it's made.
