Wild Type Ranch

We have had Wild Type beef on numerous occasions, and recently had a variety of steaks shipped to Montana for a Fourth of July BBQ with my sons-in-law. I admit-the BBQ was a grill-challenge between their source of Montana beef and my often bragged about WIld Type beef..So I was a bit nervous... Every cut of Wild Type steak we had was tender, flavorful and no gristle. Sara had included a captain's cut in our order, and I must say... I have never had a steak which cut like butter and tasted like heaven until that steak. We are spoiled. We grilled with just a bit of salt and pepper rub; anything more would only have covered the straight out beef taste. By the way-while the Montana steaks were great-the Wild Type steaks won the challenge by unanimous vote. We will order again, and look forward to our next Texas visit to pick up in person.
