Swallowtail Farm

Swallowtail farm is only a short drive from Lansing/East Lansing, and rewards visitors with not only delicious berries and other natural produce and flowers, but also with a serene taste of the fresh air and greenspace of the country. Last fall my girlfriend and her daughter joined me for a fun day of raspberry picking (both varieties) and the berries were in excellent condition. There is soft clover planted between the rows, and the berries are well spaced allowing for easy picking for folks of all ages. Other produce I've sampled from the farm includes rhubarb, strawberries, and other garden vegetables. A great stop for food and fun alike.
