Buckhill Farm

This is my first year in a CSA and I will have to say I am excited! Buckhill Farm CSA is one of my favorite things I look forward to each week! I can't wait to pull up into the old milking barn and take a look at the board to see what veggies and fruits have come alive this week. This CSA is also an education in vegtable diversity; they have several heirloom variety tomatoes, squash and lettuces whose appearences are foreign to me and yet so delicious. Farmer Andrew has a collection of herbs as well that are perfect for drying. Each week the food comes in plenty, and is enough to feed a family of four or for two and freeze/can the rest for later. Farmer Andrew writes a weekly newsletter to inform the happenings around the farm. I appreciate this quality and method of chemical-free farming so close to my home. I encourage anyone who lives in the Lititz, PA area to invest in this CSA.
