Great Barrington Farmers Market

Being French, I have always eaten according to the season. I grew up with the freshest fruit and vegetables all around me and a mother who went daily to the farmer's market and who decided what dinner was going to be according to what looked best that day instead of a predetermined list. It is a pleasure to see all the local farmer's markets grow each year and become more numerous.It is also a place to see all your friends on Saturday morning and learn from them about a new product that you may not have noticed before and I laugh at the familiar faces who compete weekly for the ricotta or chocolate croissants!
