After ordering our Turkey several weeks before Thanksgiving, we had to find out the day before that our bird that was supposed to be here the day before wasn't going to be recieved until December 1st!

I sent an email to the farm on Monday before Thanksgiving, asking for a tracking number, and recieved NO response. I called the phone number listed for K&M farms that said if we had any questions to call...NO answer...NO voicemail...and NO call back when I left 2 numeric pages. I finally contacted Local Harvest, got several replies, and was told by them that they had been assured by Ken at K&M farms that it was on the way.....All to be told Wenesday at 2:30 pm that our bird won't be here....

When I lived in Boston, I was a member of the Chef's Collaborative, and am still a supporter of sustainable farming. This is one farm that I wouldn't ever recomend or give business to again.

Now I'm stuck having to go Turkey shopping the day before Thanksgiving between busy shifts for a bird that will probably be less than we expected. Thanks for the timely heads up K&M...I could have secured a decent turkey while I was shopping on my only day off this lastweek.. Bravo

K&M is sorry that your turkey did not arrive on time , we tried everything in our powers to make this happen . the turkey was shipped out 2nd day air from ups and for some strange reason ups changed the delivery date after the turkey was shipped. It was totally out of our control , and by the time we new about it it was to late . Understandable that you are upset. We are truly sorry for this mishap . Sincerlely Ken K&M Farm
