Double T Farm

As a first time CSA member this past spring/summer 2008 and now in the fall/winter share, I am thrilled with the quality of the produce. Before I joined Double T last year, I went down to see the farm and met Tom. He spent time talking to me about the process. I walked away feeling well informed and excited. Not only am I happy to support local, organically grown food, but I am impressed with the variety and communication from Farmer Tom. His sharing of knowledge about the produce and weekly updates are appreciated. I also have volunteered at the farm and as a member, I want to take an active interest in my CSA. Since I am a landscaper/horticulturist , I can appreciate the fact that we have no control over North Carolina weather. We all do our best to meet the challenges and extremes which can swing from warm to cold, drought and wind in a matter of days. The fact we have to wait a few weeks here and there before that great produce flows again is a minor inconvenience because we get what we pay for and the quality is superior. I would highly recommend this CSA!
