Until I met Tony, I had the most difficult time finding real, locally grown produce at any of the farmers markets in Palm Beach County. I went to every market only to discover that most of the people selling produce were not growers. Some of their goods came from all the way across the country or from out of the country! And hardly any of it was pesticide free. Fortunately, I found Tony from the Local Harvest website and feel like I have been given a wonderful gift. His produce is truly a work of art, love, and generosity. I have never seen produce this lush, vibrant, and ALIVE! I was absolutely speechless when I saw it all. He had baskets overflowing with beautiful greens, tomatoes bursting with color, sweet fruit, rich herbs, everything so full of flavor! I will never be able to buy from the grocery store or the so called farmers markets again. What a gift this man and his work are to anyone who finds him! He taught me things about all the different plants, how to make teas of this and salsas with that. It was so much fun and so easy to make a delicious meal with such Garden-of-Eden-quality ingredients. I am so completely delighted with this find. And it just baffles me that our local farmers markets in this area do not include REAL, local growers like Tony.
