Alternative Community Farmer -Consultant/ South Florida

We've been thinking about organic gardening in our Lake Worth yard for several years, but never got it off the ground. We started hearing about Tony during the last year, but again didn't get started. Then, just as we finished a few more rain barrels, we chanced to run into Tony a week and a half ago. Since then we have been in full swing, non-stop garden preparations as well as lots of fresh greens and vegetables from Tony's existing gardens. Juicing and new recipes, healthy salads and feeling already healthier. The yard is an inspiring construction area -- digging to prepare the garden site, composting, recycling waste food, mixing ingredients to prepare healthy soil. So far we've been able to water the compost and soil just from rain barrels, and just as they got low, the first rain in months refilled them! Each day we're learning something new. Tony is full of energy, knowledge, enthusiasm and he's great at motivating when you're ready to work hard. We're excited to start planting very soon.
