Country Farmers' Market

I love this local farmer's market! The early spring plantings were top notch and are doing well today (July 13th). Now that the vegetables are coming in... wow! The green beans, new potatoes, squash, tomatoes, SWEET corn, greens, and any other vegetable you can think of are absolutely the best tasting of anywhere I've ever lived in the U.S. I never thought I would find tomatoes & sweet corn as good as the midwest but guess what... I have and I can't wait to stock up from week to week! And, don't forget all the breads, coffee cakes, turnovers, etc. that are home made. There's also honey, berries, and more. Gaining weight... yep but it's worth it! Oh... and the friendly smiles from all the vendors makes it even easier to buy their products. It's a great way to start your Wednesday morning.
