I am single and not home some nights, so friends and I share our basket, and it's been an absolutely great experience for us. Katie sends out an e-mail newsletter that tells us what will be in that day's basket, so we have a little time to plan menus (and she includes tasty recipes!).
Since shifting to ethical omnivory a few years ago, I've become incredibly picky about my produce quality, and Tecolote's baskets are full of really good stuff. The greens are crisp and flavorful, the root vegetables plump and tender, and the garlic is to die for. My happy veggie basket is waiting for me at my neighborhood pickup every Wednesday at lunchtime (the neighborhood pickup is convenient to both my home and my work), and they'll even leave it in my cooler for me on hot days!
Though I was already eating a lot of veggies, my veggie consumption has nearly doubled (I still go to market, though, because I love market...) and my meals are a lot more interesting. There's a sort of decadence to looking down at the eggs you're scrambling and thinking, "I could chop up some leeks to go in there, and hey, what about a bunch of sliced radish as garnish..."
