In short, the farm is gorgeous, the people are wonderful, the food is spectacular.
Their relatively small, beyond-organic operation produces mainly veggies and greens, eggs, and goat shares.
The milk and cheese produced from my goats replaced store-bought very easily--right down to using it as coffee creamer. It even tastes better, being so fresh and free from human tampering and processing. The herbed chevre blends are so good they usually don't last three days in our house, the feta is superb, and the milk itself is so thick you could paint with it.
Freshness being essential to quality, the care of harvest and packaging not only delivers this straight to your table, but also evidences the love and conviction consistently poured into the work.
The farm prides itself on the wise use of natural resources for sustainable living, and the quality of product shows it. The beyond-organic choice is a lifestyle here, not a marketing venture. Clearly something wonderful is going on deep in the woods of King William.
