Nassau Bay Farmer's Market

Produce choices are exteemly limited and over priced. Only one live plant vendor on site, and the quality of plants appear below average and also limited in selection. Clothing items look like garage sale stuff. The English baker and the Soap lady are the two most interesting things to see.

It will take you all of 5 minutes to go through this tiny thing. Not much to look at. Across the steet from NASA hidden in front of a run down looking shopping center.

I am not sure what you expect, I have gone to big and small markets, this one is small but good...If your new to organic shopping maybe start at whole foods, not really that great but it looks good. If you grow your own you will see the difference, they don't always look polished and large but the are not full of GMO's and lots of other stuff. veggies are very good there.

This farmers market is for those who what fresh, local, organic and/or sustainable farm products. For a visit to slick corporate modern looking building, one could consider Whole Foods. For over fertilized great looking non native plants one could consider, Home Depot. If organic clothing is not to ones liking maybe consider the import fabric made by slave labor using dyes and chemicals that pollute the environment. For those who want more than 5 minutes of shopping might consider going to local mall, search for parking for 10 minutes walk to main entrance and spend your afternoon with the other masses. For those who support local family owned businesses come to the farmers market and meet the people who grow, make or raise what you are buying.
