Chestnut Farms

We recently joined the Chestnut Farms CSA to try to localize our meat consumption and keep track of what we are really eating. The farm is gorgeous and the owners are fantastic, helpful people that really care about what they do... that would be running a working farm, not a show piece. We pay $80 per month for "10 pounds" of meat which actually totals up to over 13 pounds on the two occasions we have purchased their meat. The meat is fantastic and you really can taste the difference between the quality of this meat compared to supermarket meat. I would highly recommend Chestnut Farms to anyone looking to get away from the crud our food industry is pumping into us.
