Palo Alto Community Farmshop

This particular Farmshop is a fabulous example of a local community supporting a group of family farms. The farms consistently provide an array of fresh, organic produce. The CSA portion is a competitively priced and convenient source of providing a weekly supply of produce that is guaranteed fresh, organic, and healthy. This farmshop is small and has allowed me to get to know the participating farmers. Another unique plus to this market are the regularly scheduled cooking and food demonstrations by local chefs from downtown Palo Alto restaurants, that serve dishes made from the produce of this market. This has helped me learn to store and prepare new (to me) vegetables.
