Seeds and Spores Family Farm LLC

Seeds and spores have never been certified organic. Four years ago I have actually called all of the certifying agentcies to find out which farms in the UP of Michigan are certified organic. Seeds and spores was not listed with any organic agency. They only farm that I could find was the Krauss Farm in Engadine and they had dropped their certification around 20002. The Krauss farm is now getting recertified or is now certified. Good for them. After checking again this year, I noticed that the Guindon Farms and another farm in the Keewenaw have become certified organic.

Sherwood, we have been farming in the Upper Peninsula for 12 years now. Our first three years we were certified organic, first by OCIA and then by OGM (Organic Growers of Michigan). Still have the certificates to prove it actually.
