Covered Bridge Gardens

Mick and Kay Prochko are an incredible couple with incredible produce and I now look forward to getting up early Saturday mornings in the summer to get my farm surprises for the week! A highlight of my summer is the annual visit to their farm where I never fail to learn something new and interesting. This year they had in depth canning demonstrations and all kinds of educational handouts and booklets. Their son Steve answers all of our many questions and seems to know everything there is to know about farming! There are even special children's tours and activities. (I admit to tagging along on one of those as well).

Delicious vegetables every week and the great recipes that Kay sends out on their newsletter make this CSA very special. But the most special to me are the Prochko's themselves...they always have a smile for every single customer, remember your likes and dislikes, and are just a joy to be around. I have eaten vegetables I never even knew existed and am loving every minute of it. Mick did a great job teaching me how to tell a good ear of corn without peeling back the husks :)

I wholeheartedly recommend their CSA without reservation!!
