JR Organics

I have been a member of JR Organics for little over one year. It is some of the best fruits and vegetables I have ever had. As a child, we always had a garden and although I still have a small potted garden but I really missed farm fresh food. Solution, JR Organics . . . every other Wednesday, the large tote is packed with a delicious varitey of locally grown produce. Some of the items do not make it home as they are eaten on the drive home! The remaining items are cleaned and then used everyday. Some of the items I have never heard of and it is great to discovery of new recipes and tastes not yet experienced in my forty-eight years on Mother Earth. The quality is impecable and can last for more than two weeks if properly stored. The apples are the best ever.

Additionally, this has changed the way I shop for food and has lowered my food costs. Since I the tote is so bountiful, going to the local market is not as necessary as it used to be and buying the 'extra' non-essential items has been cut down. In these economically challenged times, that is an added bonus.
