Happy Hill Farm

I rate this farm 5 stars. I enjoyed meeting George of Happy Hill Farm. (Yes, it is on top of a hill and very picturesque! ) She gave me the grand tour and you can see how happy and well fed the animals are. I bought some chicken. Delicious! Yes, the meat is different from store bought factory raised but these are free roaming birds that have used their muscles. I know I am getting quality meat that was raised naturally.

Be sure you patronize your local grown food raisers and tell them thank-you for all their hard work! They are under the threat of NAIS. (do a web search on and find out more about this USDA program that will put those who own even one chicken under more govt surveillance than drug dealers, sex offenders or illegals!)
