Waynesboro Farmers' Market

I am a newcomer to Waynesboro ( 3 mos. old) and first visited the weekly Farmers Market today. It's important to support the community you live in. There is a children's activity set up right in the middle of the pavilion and I certainly appreciate that! My son had a blast and I could purchase from the local vendors without ever losing sight of him. What a relief! Short & Sweet baker is there...MMMMHMMMMM! I sampled the chocolate mint chocolate chip cookies and have ordered a cake shaped like a sea turtle. The owner has a portfolio of her work and she is amazing! I couldn't resist getting my own special creation from this talented lady. We also had an early dinner there. I'd never had a fried hot dog before and I'm really not into deep fried anything but I must say, I'd do it again. We weren't there long enough to hear the music so I think I'll wait until closer to dinner time next week. I'm really pleased to be a part of this community.
